Insignia is next BioCity tenant
Insignia Technologies was created through the merger of label maker Insigniapack and Strathclyde University spin-out Novas Technologies, which is commercialising research by chemistry Professor Andrew Mills.
The company – which is chaired by Scotland Food & Drink vice-chairman David Kilshaw – aims to grow turnover from £200,000 to £40 million within five years, taking its headcount from seven to about 25.
Insignia is the eighth company to take space at Bio City Scotland since the facility at Newhouse was launched by finance secretary John Swinney in January.
