Coronavirus in Scotland: Jet2 announce suspension of all flights from Scottish airports until March

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have scrapped all planned flights from Scottish airports until the Spring.

It blamed “ongoing uncertainty” and travel restrictions for the last minute decision to cancel all flights up to - and including - March 25, and vowed all customers would receive “speedy refunds”.

It also promised that customers planning to travel from the 26th of March would be given further updates closer to their departure date.

The travel company had previously cancelled flights to mainland Spain and the Balearics until February 11.
