Worth Getting Out of Bed For
Head off on day trips to Girvan, Ballantrae or Stranraer, the Robert Burns Museum, Culzean Castle, Dumfries House, Dean Castle Country Park or take a wander to the beach where you can while away the hours rockpooling, swimming and beachcombing.
For golfers the famous Turnberry is two miles away from the Park and has three courses including the Ailsa, which has hosted The Open Championship on four occasions.
Prefer to stay put? Kick back around your caravan and enjoy the indoor pool, adventure playground, clubhouse with live entertainment, restaurant and bar. If even that sounds too strenuous for stressed-out vacationers, book a caravan with outside decking and it’s just a matter of throwing open the door, arranging yourself on a lounger with a refreshment in hand and enjoying the sea air.
Little Extras
The Park is pet-friendly and has a good range of suitable accommodation with dog bowls and baskets. Throw in the long, sandy beaches and coastal paths and you and your pooch will be in doggy heaven.
