Army veteran in court over suicide threat
Jamie-Lee Cougan burst into Donna McKenzie’s home, in Whitburn, West Lothian, hours after she ended their three-year relationship. He then threatened to kill himself with a knife, Livingston Sheriff Court was told yesterday.
Cougan, 24, claimed in court that his bizarre behaviour was not due to post-traumatic stress disorder, depression or anxiety. He claimed he was trying in vain to convince her to give him another chance.
