Capital youngsters in award running for work with blind
Haggeye, a group which includes young people aged between 12 and 25, is in the running for the Philip Lawrence Awards.
Celebrating outstanding contributions made by young people in their community, the awards were set up in memory of headteacher Philip Lawrence who was murdered outside his London school in December 1995 while trying to protect a pupil from a gang attack.

Hide AdHaggeye has successfully worked alongside Guide Dogs for the Blind to improve access to public transport for blind and visually impaired people in Scotland and improved accessibility to the Scottish Youth Parliament (SYP).
The regional finalists now go forward for the final round of judging, and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at BAFTA, London on December 7.
