Claim of city benefit losses
SCOTTISH Nationalists claim at least 1300 families in the Edinburgh Southern constituency will lose out under the UK government's child benefit cuts.
Jim Eadie, SNP candidate for the seat in next year's Holyrood elections, told his adoption meeting at Liberton High School last night: "The Scottish Government has confirmed that 110,000 families across Scotland will lose out as a result of the Con-Dem cuts to child benefit. At least 1300 families in the Edinburgh Southern constituency stand to lose on average 1600 per year."
