Cyclist hurt in collision

A CYCLIST had to be taken to hospital after he was hit by a car in Edinburgh.

The cyclist was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with what was thought to be a minor wrist injury.

A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: "We attended a road traffic accident on Telford Road in Edinburgh near McDonalds where a car struck a cyclist at 07.26. The casualty was taken to the ERI"
