Food co-op is launched
A "FOOD co-op" aimed at helping residents buy cheap fresh fruit and vegetables is being started by the Edinburgh Old Town Development Trust.
The food will be supplied by Edinburgh Community Foods Initiative, who will ensure that it is high quality, good value and locally grown where possible.
Project co-ordinator Mark Davidson said: "The food co-op is an initiative to try to make good quality, good value fresh food available to residents."
