Go-ahead for family house
OUTBUILDINGS in a Portobello lane are to be demolished in order to be replaced by a "stunning" new house.
The application for the family home on Bellfield Lane has been given the green light by the city's planning committee.
Planning officials said it would not detract on the Portobello conservation area and that the existing buildings were in a "poor state of repair".
Planning committee member Maureen Child said: "It is stunning and I really think we ought to be supporting it."
