Golfer charged over fox death
A MAN was yesterday charged in connection with the death of a fox, after allegedly battering it with a club on a golf course.
Police were called to Peterculter Golf Club following reports that an animal had been badly injured on 10 September.
It was claimed the golfer hit it with his club while playing a round on the course.

Hide AdWildlife crime officers launched an investigation. Last night, a Grampian Police spokeswoman confirmed: "A 55-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident. A report will be sent to the procurator-fiscal."
