Nine officers' drugs tests are negative
The tests were all carried out between September 2008 and September last year.
UK officers can undergo "with cause" testing - a process by which an officer is tested for drugs after information or intelligence is given to indicate possible substance misuse.

Hide AdCurrently, the only officers eligible for random testing rather than "with cause" are those who have access to, or use, firearms.
A total of 27 officers from British police forces tested positive during the same period for substances including cocaine, cannabis and amphetamines.
