Current thinking

Your report (12 July), that £1.5 million of taxpayers’ money is being spent on erecting wind turbines on school roofs, is the first bit of good news on renewable energy in a long time.

At least the younger generation will now learn at first-hand just how useless these machines are as they look up and see they are not moving and no electricity is being generated.

Perhaps primary teachers can set up projects to monitor the actual output against the make-believe projections of the renewable energy industry and feed the results into the Scottish Government so it can advance its understanding of this industry.
