Letter: Pension policy
Isn't it of crucial importance a Scottish Government has a policy on public sector pensions (Perspective, 7 July)? Scotland's taxpayers would be responsible for the bill even under full fiscal autonomy or devolution max.
Hence it is necessary to know the stances of the parties on such an issue of crucial importance.
Would, for instance, a social democratic SNP support public sector workers and trade union policy?

Hide AdPerhaps this is one example of all the Scottish parties being relieved public sector pensions are a UK issue.
However, sooner or later it is a matter Scotland's politicians will have to face up to and declare their hand.
