Well-tutored
I left school 20 years ago without any qualifications and now have a real possibility of entering university later this year to study law and politics. This has only been made possible through the hard work of tutors.
They regularly work up to 80 hours a week, but are on the lowest pay scales. I can only express my dismay at the failure of college authorities to properly remunerate them.
It is high time the colleges and Scottish Government sought to protect such staff and give them the pay levels they deserve.
