What independence will actually mean

COULD you explain to the one in three Scots who support independence (News, 30 October) that they are not going to get independence. They are going to get total control from Brussels instead of partial control from Westminster.

So the referendum question should correctly ask “Would you prefer Scotland to be controlled by the unelected bureaucrats of the EU, or would you prefer Scotland to remain part of the UK while retaining its own Parliament and its own elected representatives”

The reality of SNP intentions is masked by emotive and incorrect terminology. They are selling their supporters a dud product.
