Wrong tense
Verily, I say unto you: he that seeketh to take the rise out of religion ought first to understand the language thereof.
This truth The Scotsman’s cartoonist knoweth not (27th July), for behold, he writeth: “An epiphany did cometh unto to me.” Let him therefore copy out 100 times: “In the King James translation of the Bible, the ending “-eth” applieth only to the third person singular of the present tense.”
