Partick Thistle make a rare successful European appearance

AMID a sea of white, one participant of the Pamplona bull run shone out from the rest - by wearing the bright yellow colours of Partick Thistle.

Gus Ritchie, from Kilmarnock, wore the Glasgow team's new strip as he took part in the San Fermin festival in Spain.

The shirt was specially delivered to the Partick Thistle fanatic by sports firm Greaves just ahead of the run to make sure he stood out from the crowd. Runners traditionally wear a white uniform for the event.
