Although the temporary venue has already been built, Edinburgh City Council’s licensing committee has given final approval for a series of classical music concerts to be held on Edinburgh Academy Junior School’s playing fields, as part of the Edinburgh International Festival.

From Saturday August 7 to Sunday August 29, forty performances of classical music will take place on the school’s Arboretum Road campus, with some starting at noon and the later concerts finishing at around 9.45pm.
