Plan for polo fields lodged
Taylor Wimpey and Miller Homes have submitted an application for housing on the site. It is thought that around 75 homes – including some affordable housing – would be built.
The city council has twice rejected previous plans for the site and rejected a recommendation by a Scottish Government reporter to designate the land as suitable for housing.

Hide AdMore than 600 residents attended a series of public meetings about the plans that formed part of a pre-application consultation by developers.
Colinton/Fairmilehead Councillor Jason Rust said: "I am certain the local community will work vigorously to oppose the application."
