Police called to clear Lodge
BAR staff at the Morningside Masonic Lodge were forced to call police to empty its social club after it closed for the night when members continued drinking alcohol gifted at a Burns Supper.
Officers were called to the lodge's social club in the early hours of last Sunday after staff were unable to clear the venue.
After officers arrived at the scene, the club was quickly emptied for the night. Police said the alcohol still being consumed at the venue had not been bought from the club bar.
