Nicola Sturgeon apologises for walking out as journalist tries to ask question
Nicola Sturgeon has apologised after ending her daily press briefing earlier today without answering a journalist’s question.
Tom Eden, a political reporter with the Press Association, was waiting for his turn to ask the First Minister a question when she abruptly left the stage.

She then gathered her papers and walked away from the podium.
In a tongue-in-cheek Tweet, the reporter posted a photo of Ms Sturgeon walking away while he can be seen waiting to ask a question via videolink, adding the caption: “Not saying [Nicola Sturgeon] is scared of answering questions from [The Press Association] but…”
When the First Minister realised her mistake, she took to Twitter to apologise, explaining: “Sorry [Tom] that was my fault - I accidentally missed you on the list.
“You can have two questions next time,” she added.
