Pupils can have a blast in class with Brian

PUPILS across Edinburgh are being given the chance to have Professor Brian Cox take over their school science class for the day.

Prof Cox, who recently presented the hit BBC series Wonders of The Solar System, is leading a national initiative to show children just how fascinating science can be, with The Big Bang Lesson.

He has teamed up with The Big Bang: UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair 2011 to launch the nationwide competition. Children can now enter their school into the special draw, which could see Brian taking over their lesson in Edinburgh on November 16.
