Record in child welfare reports
There were a record number of people reporting concerns about children in Scotland last year, new figures have revealed.
Scottish Government statistics showed a six per cent rise in cases in 2009-10 with a total of 13,523 child protection referrals.
Children's Minister Adam Ingram said more people coming forward meant children at risk could get support more "quickly and effectively".
