Two new additions to literary monument
Edinburgh's Makars' Court, in the heart of the Old Town, will add memorials to Sir David Lyndsay (c.1486-1555) and Lachlan Mr MacMhuirich (c1370 - 1438).
Lyndsay's stone, sponsored by the Sir David Lyndsay Society, will be unveiled tomorrow, while the stone commemorating Lachlan Mr MacMhuirich - sponsored by the Clan Currie Society, Inc - will be unveiled on July 22.

Hide AdCouncillor Steve Cardownie, deputy city council leader, said: "Scotland - and not least its capital city - has produced an extraordinary number of accomplished writers and the Makars' Court is an excellent way of paying tribute to them and celebrating their work."
