Fairy Liquid loses its top spot at the sink for first time in 20 years
IT MAY make your hands as soft as your face – but mild green Fairy Liquid has been ousted from the top spot in the Which? washing-up tests for the first time in 20 years.
Aldi’s Magnum Premium Original – which is less that half the price of Fairy at just 59p – knocked the traditional detergent out of first place in the annual investigation carried out by the consumer group.
Martyn Hocking, editor of Which? magazine, said: “For the first time in 20 years, Fairy Original missed out on the top spot.
“At close to half the price, savvy shoppers can bag themselves a bargain.”
