Curling: Campbell feels the Bern
Murrayfield curler Colin Campbell hopes his new line-up will begin to gel at this weekend's Bern Open in Switzerland.
Campbell, Richard Woods, David Edwards and Perth skip Duncan Fernie made a low-key start to the season at the Braehead Open earlier this month, and Switzerland's Claudio Pescia is sure to give the quartet a tough opening match at the World Tour event this morning.
Victory could set up an all-Scottish second-round clash with Lockerbie's double world champion David Murdoch who meets local skip Mario Freiberger this morning. Another ex-world champion, Stranraer's Hammy McMillan, plays Hungarian Gabor Riesz.
