Hibs looking to tie up deal for Greg Kiltie

Hibernian are closing in on a deal to sign highly rated, young Kilmarnock winger Greg Kiltie.

The 18-year-old is out of contract in January and has rebuffed all attempts by the Ayrshire club to sign him to an extended deal.

Kilmarnock would be due a compensation fee for developing the player, though Hibs are expected to offer a couple of prospects instead - thought to be Sam Stanton and Jordon Forster. (Sun)

Shay Logan staying put at Aberdeen

Aberdeen defender Shay Logan will not be leaving Pittodrie next month.

Logan, who scored in Saturday’s 4-0 win at Kilmarnock, had been keen to return south of the border to be closer to his three children.

But manager Derek McInnes says the right back will be with the Dons for the remainder of the campaign. The 27-year-old has become a firm favourite with the club’s support since arriving at Pittodrie in January 2014. (Press & Journal)
