Loan Rangers please new club bosses in first games after joining Sunderland and Oxford United
Oxford United signed the 24-year-old until the end of the season as Rangers created squad space for Scott Wright and Jack Simpson on deadline day.
And while Karl Robinson couldn’t believe his luck, Lee Johnson was also pleased to see Jordan Jones’ contribution to a Sunderland victory over MK Dons on Tuesday night.

Barker’s new side won 3-1 against AFC Wimbledon, with the on-loan Rangers man watching on, but it won’t be too long until he’s involved judging by his new manager Karl Robinson’s comments.
The Oxford United boss said: "Brandon’s an incredible talent – I’m really shocked we got this one done.
“I didn’t think he was ever within our reach. Brandon was No 1 on our list, but the one we thought we weren’t going to get.
“In the last three or four days [of the January transfer window] it escalated into a possibility.”
Both will stay with their respective clubs until the end of the skybet League One season, and Barker’s Europa League quad place has already been assumed by Wright.
Meanwhile George Edmundson’s hopes of a Derby County debut were denied by a late call-off of the Rams’ game at Rotherham due to a waterlogged pitch.
