Lines recharged for Super Six

Endura Racing Team rider Davie Lines will hope to return from a sunshine break ready to challenge for the overall title when the Scottish Power Renewables Super Six Series reaches its climax this weekend.

Lines goes into tomorrow's race seven points adrift of his team-mate Callum Wilkinson, who currently tops the climb and sprint competitions as well as holding the overall lead. The event is incorporated into the Billy Warnock Memorial road race, hosted by Falkirk BC.

Meanwhile, City of Edinburgh riders John Paul and Callum Skinner finished just outside the medals in the team sprint at the World Junior Track Championships in Italy, linking up with Lewis Oliva to qualify in fourth spot and then, with Kian Emadi replacing Oliva, losing out to Germany in the bronze medal decider.
