Montrosians look to past and present
A pitch-and-putt course at Montrose Links, which has been re-developed, is due to open soon as part of a legacy project, with sponsorship having been secured to allow local youngsters free use of the facility.
“The legacy project is a key aspect of Montrose 450,” said Jason Boyd, the town’s PGA professional. “Thanks to funding by GlaxoSmithKline, junior golfers won’t have to pay to use the pitch-and-putt course, which should help to ensure Montrosians’ 450-year love affair with golf continues for another 450 years.”
