National League: Muir lose unbeaten run
They took a 6-0 lead in the first quarter at Meggetland when captain Nick McCashin kicked two penalties.
The home side replied before the interval through a penalty by stand-off David Reekie, but in the second half the visitors were awarded a penalty try which McCashin converted. Staring at a 13-3 deficit, Boroughmuir’s unbeaten run was in danger and they piled on the pressure, eventually scoring a converted try through replacement Johnny Adams, but the visitors held on to win 13-10.
